After compiling all the scouting information (see here), I began to wonder what a draft board would look like using just the players from the schools that the Giants' scouted. Using Rob Rang's rankings, I decided to make a tidy draft board for both the offensive and defensive side of the football. Please keep in mind that this draft board ONLY uses the information that I gathered. It is missing a majority of the players that have entered the draft, but its a great way to narrow the amount down and see who the Giants could possibly like.
For rankings sake, I ranked the players with the most scouting visits higher than the ones with lesser visits.
For example, Baylor's Robert Griffin III was visited four times, compared to Stanford's Andrew Luck's one visit. Now this could also mean that the Giants' were scouting Baylor for another player, such as Kendall Wright, but for the sake of the rankings, I decided to put RGIII higher.
Row = Rounds.
Without further ado, the draft board. Click Sheet 2 for the defensive board.
UPDATE 1: Highlighted the players taken from Day 1.
Players who I think would be available at 63.
Round 2: Dwayne Allen, Brandon Thompson, Mohammed Sanu, Zach Brown, Chris Givens, Brandon Brooks,

Chris Givens and the Giants?
So I took the college data from the wide receivers that the Giants have drafted, averaged it out, and Chris Givens from Wake Forest gives us the best match. The numbers are almost identical.
A match made in heaven.
He projects anywhere from a 3rd round to 6th round draft pick. Going by his numbers alone, we can tell that Givens was a deep ball threat, and was pretty successful at it. This would be a good value pick by the G-Men.
Scouting Reports:

Scouting Reports:
National Football Post
A productive underclassman who declared early after finishing the 2011 season with over 1,300 receiving yards. Possesses average size for the position with solid musculature through his upper body. Exhibits average quickness off the line vs. press coverage. Knows how to set up his outside release with a sudden jab step inside. However, isn't real physical and doesn't use his hands real well to keep himself clean. Will get caught skipping off the line and when asked to absorb a bump seems to get slowed off the line and re-routes a bit on his outside release, looking to run around the bump instead of trying to slip it or fight through it. However, exhibits a good first step and reaches top end speed vertically, quickly. Isn't a burner, looks like a 4.5 guy, but has a slight second gear tacking the football and excellent body control when asked to go up and adjust to the throw. His body control and awareness around the sideline is very impressive, the way he focuses on the football, feels his sideline and can still get his feet in bounds. Looks very comfortable contorting his body and coming down with some tough grabs.
Mocking The Draft
Looks natural running the vertical route tree, stems his route well, sells his shoulder fake and is sharp/explosive to the post. Has the ability to create a burst out of his breaks, keep his feet under him and accelerate toward the open field. Showcases some suddenness as a route runner as well. Exhibits a snap to his game out of his breaks with the balance/body control to be clean on sharply breaking routes and stop on a dime working the come back. Needs to do a better job plucking the football off his frame though. Too often lets throws get into his body which negates the time he has to adjust, collect himself and than create after the catch.
Showcases the quickness/fluidity to make a man miss after the catch. Isn't' overly physical and isn't a big time tackle breaker. However, can be creative with the ball in his hands, make a man miss and accelerate.
Impression: He's a coordinated route runner who can adjust to the football and has enough speed to go down the field. However, he's not overly quick, powerful or fast. Looks like a low-end starter at best who would likely be better served to play inside in sub package situations.
Strengths: Quick and gets up to speed in a hurry. Shows good speed after the catch. Good route runner. Doesn’t take a wasted step and runs sharp routes. Agile enough to make defenders miss after the catch. Does a good job adjusting to poor throws.
Weaknesses: Doesn’t have good size and will need to get stronger. Tends to be slow off the line and will get jammed. Body catches too often. Profiles as a No. 3 receiver in the NFL who will run quick routes inside.
Combine quotable: (On beating press coverage) I feel like I can do fairly well, coaching and working hard, that's something I've been focusing on now. I have a pretty good amount of time before first preseason game with training camp and all that, I feel like working hard and working with a coach, I'll be ready to go.

Gushing about Demaryius Thomas and Inquiring about Stephen Hill
Two Georgia Tech wide receivers in the past couple of years were drafted in the 1st round of the NFL Draft. They are: Calvin Johnson (2007), Demaryius Thomas (2010), and now Stephen Hill could be going in the first round in 2012. Johnson played in a "pro-style" offense while under Chan Gailey. Thomas and Hill have both played in a Option-Flexbone style offense under Paul Johnson.

2012 Wide Receiver Draft Data Dump Extravaganza!
SB Nation's Bill C. was gracious enough to post wide receiver data from the 2005-2011 seasons. I went through and picked the WRs who are projected to go in the top four rounds (according to Rob Rang at NFLDraftScout.com). I will go more in depth in a bit.
Bill C's data can be be found here
My spreadsheet is here
The Target % is an average of all three (or four) years. Currently working on something to try to get the actual Target %.

Why Boley will play the Mike in 2012
Lets get straight to the photo evidence. These stills are taken from the Week 9 game vs. the Patriots. I'm still a bit iffy on the fronts, because i'm not sure how they specifically determine strength. A lot of the personnel on the field is Big Nic personnel, however, they still align in 4-3 Over/Under fronts.

Giants' Salary Information
Note: year to year salaries are just base salaries. No bonuses that a player has/will receive(d) are included. They are however included in the last column (2012 Cap Hits). Blanks just mean that the salary information has not yet been disclosed. Will update when I can.
Thoughts:
In 2013, the Giants will only have 28 players under contract for a total of $72.6M. This is just base salary. To compare to the current year, the Giants have 65 players under contract for a total of $83,927,486.00. Again this is just base salary. This is a difference of $11.3M and 37 players. I have not taken a look at what those 28 players in 2013 will make in bonuses, but if you thought money was tight this year, wait 'til next year.
Update 1: Added Salary Cap Number, Rollover, Updated Keith Rivers' Contract.
Update 2: Added 2013 Cap Hits
Update 3 (6/8/12): Osi's contract numbers added.
Information after the jump.
